Responsibilities

The Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility (NWRWRF) provides water treatment services for the communities of the northwest region of Lake County. Current design average flow is 12 million gallons per day with a design maximum flow of 30 million gallons per day. The NWRWRF meets environmental standards established by the Environmental Protection Agency on daily discharge to the receiving waters of the Fox River.
