How many animals are allowed per household?
The Village ordinance states a maximum of two (2) dogs and four (4) cats of an age greater than four (4) months may be owned, kept or harbored in an individual residence. Additionally, no more than four (4) hens shall be allowed for each single-family dwelling, except if the lot is one acre or more, then eight (8) hens shall be allowed.
